DOWN GOES BAMA
Two #1s walk into Auburn this month and leave town with a fat new L on their record at the hands of Gus Malzahn. Unreal. Now Auburn heads to the SEC title game for a rematch with Georgia. Hopefully star running back Kerryon Johnson will be back in time for that one, especially since the game will essentially be a home game for Georgia. But like I said after Auburn beat Georgia two weeks ago: the last two times the Tigers beat the Bulldogs in the regular season, they went on to play in the National Championship. There are forces bigger than players working here.
This is also the best storming of the field I’ve seen in some time. Someone call Harvey Updyke to come back to town and take care of those bushes.
PS – pray for Alabama’s center. Two straight snaps in the fourth quarter without the QB even under center yet. One of them got negated by a penalty on Auburn, but that wont matter. Nick Saban’s already got the cement mixer pouring concrete for a fresh pair of cement boots.
